About Us:

Based in Thailand for more than 10 years, we have always been in love with Asian works of art, architecture and antique furniture.
We were lucky enough to travel extensively around the region. During our regular trips to China we met two persons with profound knowledge of Chinese classics. Without their help and advice, our enterprise would not have been possible... They later became very close friends...

The opportunity was there and we decided to launch the business with a collection of antiques from China. The “Kalaë Spirit” was born.

We first carefully imported a small container and introduced the products to our relatives. They all liked the quality and originality of our furniture. The container was sold within a few days...

The first Kalaë outlet was opened in September 1998 in Bangkok and it was an immediate success. Since then we have opened galleries in Chiang Mai and Pattaya. We also exhibit in Chatutchack market, Bangkok's weekend market considered the biggest open air market in the world.

Some European buyers impressed by our concept contacted us. We act today as a buying agent for several wholesalers in France, Germany, and Spain.
